Giant Hogweed is not native to the United states or anywhere other than Central Asia. Giant Hogweed came to the United States in the early 1900s, It is native to Central Asia and is now it is found in Europe, parts of Canada and the United States. It ended up here because some gardeners wanted an unusual plant and it is now throughout many parts of the U.S.
